After a two year break, Hòa Minzy makes a return with “Không Thể Cùng Nhau Suốt Kiếp,” featuring MR.SIRO.
Accompanying the tuy vậy is the music video clip for “Không Thể Cùng Nhau Suốt Kiếp,” which was inspired in part by the story of the last emperor of Vietnam—Emperor (and later Chief of State) Bảo Đại (1913-1997) (portrayed by actor Xuân Phúc)—who ruled from 1932 until 1955 when he was overruled by a referendum vote by Prime Minister Ngô Đình Diệm.
In particular, the story of the Clip is told in the perspective of Emperor Bảo Đại’s first wife— Empress Nam Pmùi hương (played by Hòa Minzy), born from a wealthy Roman-Catholic commoner family with the birthname of Marie-Thérèse Nguyễn Hữu Thị Lan— whom he had five children with. In this version of the story, the empress discovers that her husb& cheats on her with multiple women while away in TP Hà Nội sometime in the 1930s.
